Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) Training – March 26-27, 2019 – Lubbock

The Department of State Health Services, Health Emergency Preparedness and Response Section would like to announce a public health focused offering of the L-146 Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) Training class. Training will be conducted March 26-27, 2019 in the City of Lubbock EOC, 1515 East Ursuline St.

Agencies and organizations who conduct or wish to conduct disaster preparedness exercises are welcome to attend this no cost training. It is a 2-day basic-level course that provides a comprehensive overview of exercise design along with practical skill development in accordance with the HSEEP Doctrine. This course uses activities that will give participants an opportunity to interact with many of the templates and other materials that are provided by the FEMA National Exercise Division.

If interested, please complete the required prerequisite FEMA Independent Study course IS-120, An Introduction to Exercises and upload it to your www.PreparingTexas.org transcript. The IS-130, Exercise Evaluation and Improvement Planning is also recommended.
