Privacy Policy

The Texas Pastors Conference (TXPC) website is operated by TXPC, a ministry of Trinity River Baptist Church, which acts as a data controller for personal data collected through this website. Please read this Privacy Policy before using txpc.org.

We take care of your personal data and undertake to protect its confidentiality and security.

Personal information we collect

When you visit the Site, we may automatically collect certain information about your device, including browser type, IP address, time zone, and cookies. As you browse, we may also collect information about pages viewed, referring sites or search terms, and how you interact with the Site (“Device Information”).

We may also collect personal data you choose to provide — for example your email address when you subscribe to our mailing list, or name and contact details if you email us or register for a conference through a third-party ticketing provider.

Why we process your data

We process only the data needed to operate the website, announce future conferences, respond to inquiries, and (when registration is open) fulfill event-related communications. Automatically collected information is used to protect against abuse and to understand aggregate site usage. Statistical information is not used to identify you personally.

You can browse most of the Site without providing identifying information. If you want to receive our newsletter or use certain features, you may provide details such as email, name, city, church, or phone number. You may decline to provide personal data, but some features (including the email list) will not be available.

Email list

Our email list is managed with Mailchimp. When you subscribe, your email address (and any other fields you submit) is processed under Mailchimp’s Privacy Policy as well as this one. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in our emails.

Audio, tickets, and other third parties

Conference audio may be hosted by our storage provider (for example Vercel Blob) or available via Spotify. Event registration, when offered, is handled by Ticket Spice or a similar ticketing partner. Merch may be offered through Bonfire or another storefront. Those services process information under their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review their policies when you leave our Site.

Your rights

If you are a European resident, you may have rights related to your personal data, including the rights to be informed, access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, objection, and rights related to automated decision-making. To exercise these rights, contact us using the information below.

If you are a European resident, we may process information to fulfill contracts with you (for example event registration) or to pursue legitimate interests described above. Your information may be transferred outside Europe, including to the United States.

Links to other websites

Our Site may link to websites we do not own or control. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please read the privacy statements of those sites when you leave ours.

Information security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal data in our control. No transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed completely secure.

Legal disclosure

We may disclose information if required or permitted by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar process, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.
